Fund for Sustainable Tomorrows is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Fund for Sustainable Tomorrows was formed by Alice and Lincoln Day, educators and board members of several environmental organizations, as a 501(c)3 financial entity to provide information and increase public awareness about the extensive and often hidden environmental consequences of war and preparations for war.  

On the basis of their nine years of experience reviewing films  with the District of Columbia Environmental Film Festival, they concluded, first, that the ecological footprint of war has been only minimally addressed on film and, second, that film is a particularly well-suited medium for presenting this topic to a broad and diverse audience.
